TECHNICAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Services Supervisor –is responsible for leading the Technical Services Engineering team, ensuring high-quality technical support, customer service, and project coordination.
This position will manage day-to-day operations, oversee the technical design and support function, maintain internal standards and systems (including CAD and database management), and act as the point of escalation for complex technical issues.
The role requires strong leadership, engineering knowledge, and a collaborative mindset to drive efficiency, technical excellence, and customer satisfaction.
TECHNICAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership & OversightLead, mentor, and develop a team of Technical Services team resources effectively to meet project and support performance goals and conduct regular training, support, and professional development to team members.Technical Operations SupervisionOversee technical design output including layout drawings, part lists, and shop quality and accuracy of design improvements in drafting, design tools, and database timely and accurate technical support is provided to internal and external stakeholders.Project & Customer SupportAct as escalation point for complex technical inquiries or site technical project support for major or high-profile site visits as needed and ensure on-site problem resolution processes are documented and with Sales, Product Development, and Engineering to deliver technical solutions.System and Process OptimizationMaintain and improve the technical services information database and CAD system and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for technical process inefficiencies and propose technical or workflow improvements.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork with Product Competency Centers to maintain up-to-date product with Inside Sales and Area Sales Managers to resolve issues and improve customer field failure reports and implement corrective action strategies.TECHNICAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR COMPETENCIES:

TECHNICAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Four-year degree in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides similar knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Minimum of two years supervising experience.
Experience in hydraulics or subsurface detention preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience interpreting product design, layouts and basic drafting room practices.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar systems.Experience with HydroCAD is a plus, not requiredExperience with Microsoft DynamicsTECHNICAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
Ability to write technical correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
