Position Summary

McCormick Taylor’s Information Technology team is responsible for maintaining the company’s computer systems and network infrastructure.

The Technician II provides advanced technical support to end users, ensuring efficient and reliable technology operations.

Reporting to the Senior Technician, this hybrid role includes both remote and on-site work, with multiple in-person days required each week.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Respond to Help Desk tickets with timely and effective solutions.
  • Provide daily technical support for personnel and systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Ensure proper functionality of systems, software, printing devices, and network connectivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware deployment and support procedures.
  • Test and evaluate new technologies.
  • Additional Duties:

  • Manage the company’s print fleet and oversee managed print services.
  • Develop and deliver webinar-based training sessions on IT topics.
  • Regularly assess technology systems to ensure they meet operational needs.
  • Recommend upgrades and improvements to enhance system performance.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of recent experience in troubleshooting computers, servers, and networks.
  • Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Proactive and resourceful in dynamic environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and computer hardware.
  • Familiarity with network connectivity and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 support environment.
  • Ability to travel to various company locations as needed.
