Job Overview

Bajo las instrucciones del Supervisor(a) de turno lleva a cabo reparaciones y mantenimientos preventivos en todas las máquinas y equipos auxiliares utilizando el programa establecido.

Realiza tareas de reparación rigiéndose por las instrucciones específicas de los manuales de los equipos.

Asiste en instalar, desmontar y/o re-establecer equipos por cambios.




A Day In The Life


+ Utiliza la Hoja de Tareas (“Task”) generada por el Departamento de Servicios Técnicos.

La misma detalla las inspecciones visuales a seguir con el equipo y/o maquinaria para detectar problemas.



+ Reemplaza todas las partes que indique el “task” y realiza las instrucciones y/o cambios definidos en la hoja.



+ Responsable de conocer e interpretar los manuales de los equipos, maquinarias y/o herramientas bajo su responsabilidad.



+ Realiza trabajos del taller utilizando equipos manuales tales como: taladros de bancos, (“bench drills”), amoladores de bancos (“bench grinders”), etc.

Efectúa soldaduras básicas, maneja prensas hidráulicas, y otras herramientas del taller.



+ Repara los equipos que tengan escapes de aceite encontrados, los cuales necesiten remover válvulas, cilindros principales, sellos, etc.



+ Verifica y reemplaza cualquier acoplador (“fittings”) con escape de aire, aceite o agua de los equipos auxiliares bajo su responsabilidad.



+ Se asegura de cumplir y llevar a cabo lo establecido en las Políticas, Procedimientos y Reglas de Seguridad Ocupacional, Calidad, Ambiental, Seguridad de Planta Física, Finanzas, y otras.



+ Realiza otras tareas relacionadas dentro del área de trabajo, según instrucciones del Supervisor o persona designada.





What will help you thrive in this role?




+ Curso técnico en Mecánica Avanzada y/o experiencia en Mecánica Industrial o Herramentista.



+ Curso básico en Electricidad o experiencia certificada.



+ Lectura, escritura, comprensión e interpretación del idioma Español para su aplicación en redactar, analizar y complementar documentación.



+ Lectura, escritura, comprensión e interpretación del idioma Inglés en nivel básico para su aplicación en el uso de redactar y analizar instrucciones escritas y manuales de equipos.



+ Conocimientos y/o experiencia básica en: neumática, hidráulica y electricidad.



+ Conocimiento y/o experiencia con herramientas de medición tales como; ‘calipers”, micrómetros, para su aplicación en realizar ajustes en equipos y/o maquinarias.



+ Conocimiento y experiencia práctica en el uso de máquinas automatizadas, preferiblemente.



+ Experiencia certificada o práctica en reparación y montura en equipos de aire comprimido como: compresores, secadoras, bombas al vacío, de agua y líquidos.



+ Conocimiento de sistemas de bombas de enfriamiento (“chillers”) y torres de agua.
