Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Consultant with extensive expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and warehouse control systems (WCS).
This position involves providing functional and technical support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for WMS platforms, while contributing to the development and integration of material handling equipment (MHE) and other applications.
The ideal candidate will also oversee operational improvements and support deployment strategies, ensuring optimal system performance across supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical support for WMS configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of WMS and WCS functionality to deliver effective solutions and improvements.
- Develop and integrate material handling equipment (MHE) applications with WMS platforms.
- Configure and implement enhancements to WMS systems based on operational needs.
- Analyze, design, and implement functional and technical updates to WMS systems.
- Support distribution center (DC) operations by implementing WMS upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure robust SDN deployment strategies, validation of changes, and testing processes.
- Perform SQL and Unix tasks, including creating stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Leverage understanding of supply chain modules, such as labor management (LM), yard management, and transportation systems.
- Monitor applications, analyze logs, and manage issues to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications: Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Manhattan WMOS applications (version 2013 or later).
- Proficient knowledge of WMS and WCS functionality, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Proven hands-on experience in developing and integrating MHE applications.
- Expertise in functional configuration and implementation of Manhattan WMS systems.
- Strong analytical skills to design and implement functional and technical system changes.
- Direct experience in DC operations and WMS enhancements.
- Advanced understanding of SDN deployment strategies and functional change validation.
- Solid proficiency in SQL and Unix, with the ability to create stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, including LM, yard management, and transportation systems.
- Strong application monitoring, log analysis, and problem management capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with automation and optimization methodologies within supply chain management.
