Telecom Project Analyst

Aloha! One of Hawaii's main telecom companies is seeking a Project Analyst to join their team! This role will primarily support telecom engineering projects through planning, coordination, and administrative tasks.

- Knowledge of telecom equipment and operations.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Send engineering drawings for printing and distribution.
- Help route bills of materials (BOMs) for quotes, internal requests, and purchase orders.
Project Coordination Duties:
- Confirm delivery of materials with receiving teams and update SAP records.
- Organize and consolidate materials from multiple orders for deployment.
- Schedule project kick-off meetings with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate monthly project schedules across islands, ensuring:
- Site readiness (permits, access, safety, vegetation clearing, etc.)
- Material delivery
- Submit required documentation (LHOs, Holdoffs) based on project needs.
- Notify operations center (NOSC) of upcoming work and arrange outage windows if needed.
- Arrange safety and substation entry training for contractors.
- Travel to outer islands as needed
Project Analyst Support:
- Share updates and reports with engineers (e.g., dashboard, forecasts, accruals).
- Pull data for project planning (drawings, material orders, kickoff dates).
- Assist with creating reports for budget approvals.
- Set up projects and work orders in SAP.
- Generate service invoice entries (SES).
- Occasionally help update internal systems (UI).
- Travel to outer islands as needed.
Contract Duration
*Possible contract up to one year, depending on bill rate and approved budget*
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in Telecommunications preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $39.00/hr.
