The Pricing & Legal Project Management team supports the firm’s attorneys with full spectrum strategic financial and commercial insights, including: creation and management of alternative fee arrangements, development of pricing strategies, and application of creative approaches to important business problems that impact client acquisition and retention.

These objectives enhance operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and firm profitability.

The team supports a broad range of practice areas across all departments and offices by delivering strategic advice, leveraging advanced project management principles, and integrating technology solutions to maintain and advance the firm’s premier market position.

The Pricing Coordinator will play a crucial role in immediately advancing the firm’s pricing governance by supporting workflows related to the newly formed Corporate Pricing Committee.

This will entail both maintaining our existing processes and systems, while supporting the design and implementation of more streamlined procedures, including enhanced reporting and comparable analysis.

This position calls for an organized, process-oriented individual who is eager to partner with senior members of the Pricing & LPM team to deliver measurable ROI.



This is a part-time position scheduled for 20 hours a week.

The role can be hybrid or fully remote.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Consistent monitoring, organization, and triage of all incoming Corporate pricing requests and Corporate Pricing Committee feedback.
  • Maintain and enhance reporting processes to ensure the Pricing team is proactively informed about incoming pricing requests and Corporate Pricing Committee responses.
  • Support process improvements, uncover efficiencies, and inform decision-making regarding the Corporate Pricing Committee workflow.
  • Partner with the Pricing & LPM teams to develop improved team infrastructure (checklists, knowledge repositories, workflows, etc.) to streamline and mature the Pricing & LPM functions.
  • Assist with other team deliverables as needed.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree desired, with a preference for candidates with backgrounds in business, economics, law, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, financial analysis, or a related role within a professional services setting.

    Legal industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with legal billing systems (e.g., Aderant) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to produce professional, client-ready communications and reports.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule according to project demands.
     
  • The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed.

    The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location.

    The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $35.96 - $48.65 per hourAustin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $32.28 - $43.68 per hourSalt Lake City and all other locations: $28.61 - $38.70 per hour

    The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance.
