Minimum Qualifications Position Summary This position will support a turfgrass breeding program by assisting with field maintenance, sample collection, laboratory processing, data entry, and preliminary data analysis.
The individual will gain research experience and professional development with the potential to continue as a graduate student in the fall semester.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Experience in turfgrass management, research, agriculture, or related field.
Interest in pursuing graduate studies.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and in teams, basic understanding of plant sciences or agriculture, ability to work in outdoor conditions.
Physical Demands Work outdoors in summer heat, lift up to pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
Driving as needed to perform job duties.
