Essential Functions
Manage contract transition project to include detailed schedules, objectives, and deliverables for projects involving all relevant stakeholders Identify project resource requirements and coordinates directly and indirectly with project staff to ensure successful completion of the project.
Organize project team members to ensure communication and understanding of scope, timelines, assignments, and objectives.
Perform on-going review of project status and escalate issues where necessary.
Notify management team early of potential technical challenges and schedule delaysInterface with project staff and stakeholders to manage project scope and schedule.
Oversee status reporting on project performance to management.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in a business or technical related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceFive or more years of experience in project managementExperience managing projects in large, cross functional, matrixed teams High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience working on the Eastern or Western Range and familiarity with locations and facilitiesExperience working with varying project management methodology (traditional waterfall, agile, etc.) including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software, and finance and accounting concepts and practices, preferred Experience working on a Department of Defense contract and familiarization with Federal Acquisition Regulations preferredAdditional Eligibility Qualifications
