Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Test Engineer at our Euclid, Ohio facility! This is an onsite, direct hire role, aligned to a 1st shift schedule.

With over 300 employees, our Euclid, OH facility specializes in the manufacturing and repair of main engine fuel pumps, airframe pumps and aftermarket repairs.

This site serves both commercial and military aviation.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

**What you’ll do:**

Responsibilities include providing direction in the maintenance, acquisition and design of test equipment, reviewing of test procedures and requirements with product engineers and coordinating and executing test plans to ensure completion per schedule.

**In this function you will:**

+ Provide leadership to Test Lab personnel in support of test plans and procedures for various aircraft products and fuel systems.
+ Plan, schedule and execute assigned test plan for Main Engine and Airframe fuel pumps.
+ Provide technical support in regard to functional and performance testing of high pressure hydro mechanical and electromechanical components and systems.
+ Design and procure tooling and fixtures for the assembly and test of new products.
+ Execute qualification and development test plans to meet program goals and milestones.
+ Specify required test equipment for development and qualification testing.
+ Manage multiple simultaneous projects to successful completion.
+ Establish and document assembly, disassembly, and inspection procedures.
+ Assist in the development of new manufacturing processes as necessary to support new product introduction.
+ Performs hands-on testing as required.
+ Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal direction.
+ Interface with maintenance personnel and provide technical support for Engineering and Production test equipment.
+ Support Engineering Test Lab safety initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
+ Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
+ Relocation is not offered for this role.

Candidate must live within a 50 mile radius of Euclid, Ohio to be considered.

Active Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement
+ This position requires access to export-controlled information.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Knowledge of Aircraft Accessories, Products and Test Equipment
+ Proficient with 3D Modeling using CATIA or similar CAD software package
+ Experience with the designing of tooling and fixtures related to assembly or test stands
