ResponsibilitiesKey Accountabilities:
Design, construct, fabricate, assemble, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems (primarily hydraulic, electrical and computer based equipment)Perform a variety of tests utilizing electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and similar type systems and equipmentSupport commissioning of new test equipmentWork with/from schematics, engineering drawings, written and/or verbal instructionsOperate related equipmentAnalyse data to determine whether instrumentation is functioning correctly upon installationPerform calibration and alignment checks, planning, modifications, and replacements as requiredWork effectively and supportively in a team environment while being able to work independently with minimal oversightWork with potentially hazardous equipment or on potentially hazardous test activities, following all safety equipment and processes mandated for those activities to complete them safelyWork directly with internal customers in a supportive and positive mannerWork in dynamic and deadline driven environment QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited university is required, with 5-8 years of relevant experienceRequired Skills:
Experience designing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic test systemsExperience assembling mechanical/electrical/hydraulic test systemsExperience working with mechanical/electrical/hydraulic test systemsExperience working with computer systemsExperience installing and working with instrumentation and test equipmentAbility to work from drawings and schematicsAbility to design and fabricate items required with minimal oversightExperience working with various hand, power and machine shop toolsPreferred Qualifications:
