FEP-ALD-EPI Test Manufacturing Engineering

Join the FEP-ALD-EPI team as one of the Test Engineers supporting our chambers.

Working as a Manufacturing Engineer within FEP-ALD-EPI requires working in a team environment.

Be ready and willing to work with and help other Engineers, Manufacturing Techs, Customer Experience, Supply Chain, Technical Project Managers, System Project Managers.

Working within our team also requires that you are focused on excellent floor support and continuous improvement.

Our team is consistently improving the quality of our product and we leverage innovation to improve the productivity of our workcenter.

Key Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

Innovates, develops, and implements projects to enhance both new and volume products.

Interfaces with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and/or new products.

Drives manufacturing engineering ePLC deliverables.

Launches, releases, approves and implements or issues engineering change requests as required to support design engineering and floor with new and existing products.

Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements.

Leads team in the use of DFx principles to reduce product costs and improve delivered product quality.

Develops and uses test procedures, including assisting with the definition of test specifications with design / software engineering.

May work with test engineering on the design and development of text fixtures.

May assist in the coordination of test fixture sourcing activities.

Determines root cause analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or test of systems; drives correction actions; provides failure analysis report as required.

Evaluates work methods, procedures and policies.

Develops and maintains new business processes; edits as necessary to ensure current practices are documented.

Mentors and trains lower level engineers.

May coordinate outsourcing activities with external / internal suppliers.

Performs Process Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis when working with New Product Development.

Other Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.

Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.

    The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.

    In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

    For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
