**Job Summary**
Responsible for the designs and oversees the implementation of an organization’s overall testing strategy.
Partners and collaborates with all stakeholders to understand and translate goals and objectives into testing architecture, roadmaps and capability models.
Reconcile different perspectives and drive toward consensus within a testing domain.
Looks across testing aspects for applications, infrastructure, technology components and data to when developing roadmaps and capability models that outline how testing of technology are and will be structured.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Align with and support the strategic direction of broader IT organization.
Provide insight to the testing strategic vision/plans/roadmap and identify key testing innovative technologies and product enhancements that improves customer experience and simplify current landscape
+ Provide leadership, oversight and guidance on application design and development, serving as an expert on testing technical capabilities.
Provide vision; define system and testing application architecture, problem anticipation and problem solving ability across the landscape
+ Responsible for developing testing architecture framework to support product solutions for core business functions, ensuring alignment with other products as well as the overall IT enterprise
+ Design, document and maintain system processes, report on common sources of testing technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
+ Provide deep software/hardware testing technical architecture expertise to ensure proper solution design
+ Responsible for establishing strong partnerships with vendors with clear expectations.
This includes negotiating agreements, establishing service level agreements, and ensuring contracts are in place to support the product needs
**Job Specific Qualifications**
+ Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Information Technology Management or a related discipline with at least 8 years of relevant work experience
+ Performance testing, Systems analysis, programming, quality control, and test management experience
+ Microsoft Project application knowledge
+ Strong working experience in scripting using Python, Java, LRE scripting, vb script,, and version control
+ Excellent understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies.
+ 8+ years project management experience managing projects from conception to successful implementation
+ Commanding knowledge of the technical and business issues in any of the following areas: Applications or Infrastructure Architecture, Systems Development, Project or Product Management and Operations/Production support
+ Proficiency using at least one Gartner-recognized test management application (e.g., ServiceNow, HP Quality Center, HP ALM, JIRA Xray) Proven experience with supporting large sized complex projects addressing issues & concerns to ensure project meet IT & business goals
+ Strong experience with aligning project solutions to overall corporate enterprise architecture
+ 2+ years proven experience supporting and coaching other architects / team members
+ Work and communicate with a wide range of people – peers, vendors, staff members, broader functional and business leadership, and others.
Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude, demeanor and discretion
+ Ability to proactively communicate technical topics in a clear, succinct, and relevant way
+ Demonstrated ability to perform assigned work proficiently
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with external constituent groups and customers
**Desired**
+ MBA or Information Technology Management or relevant post-graduate degree
+ CTFL & other testing certifications
+ ISTQB certifications
+ PMP certification
