Texas Woman's University (TWU) invites applications for a visionary and strategic leader to serve as Director of the School of Health Promotion and Kinesiology (SHPK).
Housed within the College of Health Sciences, SHPK is home to nationally recognized undergraduate and graduate programs in Health Studies/Public Health and Kinesiology.
The School's mission is to improve health, impact communities, and transform the world through multidisciplinary research, innovative teaching, experiential learning, and community engagement.
The Director serves as the School's chief academic and administrative officer, reporting directly to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences.
The position is a 12-month, tenure-track appointment and includes a competitive salary and support for continued scholarly activity.
The Director will guide the School in advancing strategic priorities in four primary areas:
