Traffic Director Job Opening In Placerville – Now Hiring Waste Connections

Job Description

**El Dorado Disposal** , a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a safety conscious **Traffic Director** to join our team in **Placerville, CA!** This position will also be working part of the time on our sorting line.

The schedule will be **Thursday - Sunday** **, 7AM-5:30PM** .

Starting pay will be **$21 per hour** .

The pay range for this job category is $20-$21.50/hour.

Responsibilities Include:

+ Spotting and helping to direct customers and work trucks to appropriate dump sites.
+ Traffic management - moving signs and cones
+ Trained in the Gatehouse on money handling and data entry.
+ On the sorting line ensuring appropriate material is going into the baler.
+ Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing
+ General site cleanup as needed
+ Friendly customer service
+ Other laborer/MRF duties as needed

Requirements:

+ At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position.
+ The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
+ Experience operating equipment is a plus
+ Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
+ Ability to stand throughout entire shift
