Traffic Signal Technician Job Opening In Port St Lucie – Now Hiring Utilities Service, LLC

**Description**

**Traffic Signal Technician:**

This position will be responsible for performing various duties of troubleshooting, maintenance and repair duties on street lights and traffic signals.

**Job Type** : Full-Time +, Non-Exempt

**Pay** :Based on experience:

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities:**

+ Must have knowledge of signal & detection functions.
+ Level II IMSA preferred.
+ Ability to read & understand signal/ITS and lighting plans.
+ Advance training provided after 6 months of employment.
+ Competitive hourly rates w/overtime and benefit package.
+ Must be available to travel, if needed.
+ Having a CDL A is preferred.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
+ Level II IMSA preferred.
+ Having a CDL A is preferred.
+ Must be available to travel, if needed.

**Education & Experience**

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
+ Level II IMSA preferred.
+ Having a CDL A is preferred.

**Pre-Screen**

+ Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.

**License & Certifications:**

+ Valid Driver's license required.
+ Level II IMSA preferred.
+ Having a CDL A is preferred.

**Travel Requirements:**

Must be willing to travel as needed.

+ **CONTINUOUS** (up to 100%): Standing, Sense of Touch, Gripping, Seeing, Reaching, range-of-motion, Depth Perception, lifting over 10 lbs.
