Transportation Engineering Project Manager Job Opening In Lapeer – Now Hiring Gpac


Job description

I am partnered with an award-winning, multi-disciplined firm that offers a full range of services to both public and private sector clients and they are looking to add a Transportation Lead.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage multiple projects, prepare and monitor budgets, project scheduling, etc.
  • Perform business development to maintain and grow our relationship with the MDOT clients and teaming partners
  • Participate at MDOT workshops, meetings, and events.
  • Mentor Senior Project Managers, or other Project Managers, in developing work scopes, budgets, and staff assignments
  • Provide support and project lead for planning, design, and reporting on various transportation projects 
  • Manage project teams, schedules, and budgets for various projects, primarily for MDOT.

Required Experience:


  • 15+ years of MDOT design experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
  • Willingness to travel throughout Michigan for business development and project meetings
  • Comfortable speaking at client and public events
