Description
:Parsons is seeking Network Software Development Engineers with experience in either C/C++ and Linux systems to join our team of exceptional individuals.
Qualified engineers will be required to participate in an Agile Scrum development life cycle including design, peer review, test support, and documentation of software.
Successful candidates must be flexible, self-motivated, hardworking, and capable of operating in a quick-reaction development environment to solve complex problems.
What You'll Be Doing:
Designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance network software solutions using DPDK, C/C++, and P4.
Working through the entire software development life cycle including technical requirements, architecture/design, development, testing, and deployment
Research, test, build, and coordinate the integration of new products per production and client requirements
Troubleshoot technical issues arising within the operational (production) environment and track/update progress
Ability to work in a cooperative team environment
Ability to adapt rapidly to changing requirements and schedules
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience
Proficient working in a Linux command line environment
Linux inter-process communication and kernel module software development
Multithreaded and real-time programming techniques
Knowledge of Linux, VxWorks, or other embedded systems internals
Experience analyzing performance issues and implementing efficiency improvements
Ability to communicate effectively with technical team members, managers, and customers
TS/SCI government security clearance which require US citizenship
Security Clearance Requirement:
