TT Assistant Professor in Speech-Language Pathology Job Opening In Syracuse – Now Hiring Syracuse University


Job description

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Syracuse University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Speech-Language Pathology, beginning with the 2026–2027 academic year.

This is a full-time, 8.5-month tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level in a vibrant, research-oriented academic program offering BS, MS, accelerated BS/MS, AuD, AuD/PhD, and PhD degrees.


The successful candidate will be expected to:


+ Establish and sustain a nationally recognized program of research

+ Pursue external funding to support scholarly activities

+ Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in speech-language pathology and related areas

+ Mentor student research projects and advise students academically

+ Contribute to departmental, college, and university service



Compensation is nationally competitive, and the position carries full eligibility for tenure and promotion.
