BILT creates official 3D Intelligent Instructions® for thousands of products from hundreds of innovative brands and hosts them on a free mobile app.

Users can manipulate interactive animations on a touchscreen, providing superior training differentiator for products that require assembly, installation, maintenance, programming, or repair.

Our Global Brand Support Center is located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex between DFW airport and the Southlake Town Square.

About the Job BILT is seeking a talented UI Developer to join our team in Grapevine, Texas, to design and develop intuitive, secure, and accessible user interfaces for our mobile and spatial computing platforms (iOS, Android, visionOS).

This role is critical to supporting federal contracts, requiring current U.S. citizenship and strict adherence to FedRAMP standards to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities Develop User Interfaces: Design and implement responsive, high-quality UI components and custom views for BILT’s mobile and spatial computing applications, in React and TypeScript, following best practices Integrate with different backend services and APIs Write and maintain unit tests Refactor and optimize existing code for performance, maintainability, and compliance Translate Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect UI components for both desktop and mobile Implement HTML/CSS with cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness in mind.

Ensure compliance with Accessibility Standards Follow OWASP guidelines for secure front-end development Requirements: Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Webpack, Material UI Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles.

Understanding of CI/CD processes.

Ability to work with Figma or similar design tools.

Experience writing unit tests (Jest).

Familiarity with AWS Experience with implementing accessibility principles Experience with implementing UI Security best practices (OWASP) Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Design, or a related field.

Citizenship: Current U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract stipulations and FedRAMP compliance.

Candidates must provide verifiable proof of citizenship (e.g., passport, birth certificate).

Experience: 5+ years of experience in UI development or front-end development for mobile or web applications.

Familiarity with developing UI for iOS, Android, or spatial computing platforms (e.g., visionOS).

Experience with 3D interactive or augmented reality (AR) interfaces is a plus.

Soft Skills: Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and technical interviews.

Ability to translate user feedback and federal requirements into secure, user-friendly UI designs.

Work Environment This role is based at BILT’s Global Brand Support Center in Grapevine, Texas, near DFW Airport and Southlake Town Square.

Routine use of standard office equipment (computers, tablets, phones, email, and FedRAMP-compliant communication platforms like Microsoft Teams).

Physical demands include prolonged computer use and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Office hours: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with convenient parking and nearby amenities.

Federal contract work may require coordination with government stakeholders and adherence to secure development practices.
