As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment at a busy logistics and distribution location.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and managing access points to help deter security-related incidents.

**Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour**

**Day** **Time**

Thur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
+ Support site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related activities.
+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access questions and directions as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, escalating when appropriate.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
+ Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or breaches of access protocols according to Allied Universal's guidelines.
+ Collaborate with on-site personnel and local authorities during emergency response activities as required.
+ Maintain awareness of the surroundings and promptly address any security-related issues or concerns.

**What We’re Looking For:**

+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
