Responsibilities
- Those who are experts in using LIVE sound equipment, operating and recording off the sound board, communicating with our musicians and the director throughout the performance.
- Production:
- Strong attendance to monthly production meetings and scheduled events
- Design, install, produce, and communicate sound with provided equipment, stagehands, and monitor technician
- Record and broadcast audio
- Technician's plans are communicated constructively to other members, musicians, and the production manager
- Report missing equipment to technicians or managers, as lost or stolen equipment can lead to discipline
- Share knowledge, constructive feedback, and ideas during performances and monthly production meetings
- (Optional) Invite potential members who share the same work mindset
- Collaborating with musicians to complete requests relating to audio while achieving our goals
- (Optional) Search for potential musicians who are experienced in their genre and share the same mindset as the studio
*IMPORTANT* Audio Technician will earn $25-$28 an hour
