**Job Description:**

**JOB SUMMARY**

The Unit Attendant I - Float works with the medical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse within a hospital unit to assist the staff and serve the patients in a variety of ways.

The Unit Attendant I has responsibilities involving both direct and indirect patient care.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**

**EDUCATION**

_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._

**Minimum Required:** Minimum age requirement of 16 years old.

**CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES**
