Certified Emergency Medicine Specialists and University of Michigan Health-West are seeking a full-time, board certified, Family Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established and comprehensive urgent care team.

High caliber, quality focused, innovative providers should apply to join our team to expand and provide care to local communities.

Provider will be performing full spectrum of ambulatory, urgent care services for patients, including acute, chronic, and specialty care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Candidate will also need to coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff.

1-2 years of Emergency or Urgent Care Experience

OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:

•Full time opportunity within the University of Michigan Health-West Cascade facility
•High utilization of a team-based approach to health care and APP’s are critical members of the team
•The focus of this position is to provide high-quality care directly to patients in the outpatient setting
•Performs comprehensive evaluation and examination
•Orders, conducts, and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests and point of care testing
•Expansive University of Michigan referral network serving much of the West Michigan region and Lake Michigan shoreline
•10 - 12-hour shifts (120 hours per month)
•1:3 weekend coverage 
•1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday 
•Ability to perform minor procedures 
•Ability to work independently 
•Hourly rate with incentive holiday pay
