Job description

Job Title: Senior UX Designer
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months

Work Schedule:

  • Now–February: On-site Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; Remote on Fridays

  • Starting March: On-site Mondays through Thursdays; Remote on Fridays

  • Candidates must be local to the Austin, TX area.

  • Strong knowledge of core UX principles

  • Ability to create high-fidelity, development-ready designs

  • Experience using project tracking/documentation tools (., Confluence, Jira)

  • About the Team:

    This position is part of a multidisciplinary User Experience and Design team supporting a range of digital platforms.

    The team includes UX designers, visual designers, content strategists, and researchers.

    Together, we collaborate with business and technical partners to deliver user-centered, accessible, and effective product experiences.

    Responsibilities:

    Design Consulting

  • Facilitate collaborative working sessions (., ideation, sketching, design reviews)

  • Develop thoughtful, user-centered design solutions aligned with design system guidelines

  • Use various visualization methods to explore and communicate ideas (sketches, wireframes, prototypes)

  • Translate complex problems into clear, intuitive user experiences

  • Design Management

  • Own and manage design schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and report on progress or risks

  • Identify and resolve blockers, escalating when needed

  • Design Execution

  • Produce polished design deliverables and support implementation with QA

  • Integrate user research insights into design decisions

  • Optimize design processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Collaboration & Team Engagement

  • Work closely with peers and partners in product, engineering, and research

  • Offer constructive feedback and actively participate in team reviews

  • Embrace an iterative, collaborative approach to design
