The Utility Operator supplies and returns raw materials and parts between work-in-progress (WIP) areas and machines, ensuring accurate completion of all supporting documentation.

This position also involves filling in at unmanned stations across qualified areas such as Assembly I, II, III and Machine Operators I, II, and III as needed on a day-to-day basis.




Responsibilities:
+ Alert Supervisor and maintenance personnel of any problems that may arise.
+ Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine in a quick, efficient manner so that downtime is limited.
+ Keep work area clean, free from debris and compliant with 5S markings.
+ Follow safety rules and regulations
+ Maintain production and operate necessary equipment
+ Record production data
+ Perform quality inspections as needed
+ Train new team members on standard operation procedures as needed



Qualifications:

Education and Experience
+
+ HS Degree or GED
+
+ 2-3 years of manufacturing experience




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+
+ Basic troubleshooting skills
+ Basic computer skills
+ Ability to communicate in English
+
+ Ability to pass a tape measure test
+ Ability to work independently





Physical Requirements
+ May be required to lift up to approximately 40 pounds
+ Must be able to stand at workstation for a long period of time
+ Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion
+ Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles
+ Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions

Work Schedule

Production Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Training will take place during the week before team members move to the weekend schedule.



Team members will work (3) 12-hour shifts for 36 hours.

They will be paid for 40 provided they have perfect attendance.
