Location: 100% remote, United States
Duration: 3 month contract- 40 hours/weekly
Pay Rate: $56.45-$61.45/hour

Role Overview:
We're looking for a strong writer who's also a design thinker and customer advocate.
You'll join a team dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs-whether they're just starting out or scaling established businesses.
This role is perfect if you love using words to tell stories, solve problems, and support small business success.
You thrive at both big-picture strategy and crafting clear, compelling copy.
Curious and detail-oriented, you dig deep to understand products, question existing experiences, and raise the bar-always putting customer needs first.
Your Day to Day:
• Plan and write UX content for web and mobile experiences (across all touchpoints including navigation and user interface copy, emails, in-app notifications, chatbots, and help).
• Collaborate with Design on page layout, interactions, and visual tone.
• Use data-driven insights about experience gaps and customer pain points to brainstorm and build proposed experience solutions.
• Drive the definition of a clear and actionable strategic direction for content in this problem/solution space.
• Coordinate and advise content designers on other teams to share context and clarity you've gleaned from customer research.
• Use data and research to evaluate your content's impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows tangible results.
What You Bring:
• 4+ years professional writing experience for web or mobile content.
• Excellent, highly creative writing and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience working with content standards, such as style and voice and tone guidelines.
• At ease managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams.
• Experience in financial services, payments, crypto currency, B2B or B2C e-commerce is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science or related field preferred.
