Job Title: Validation Engineer – Embedded Systems (Automotive)

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Validation Engineer to join their Vehicle Electronics and Software (VES) organization, focusing on RIDE COMMAND validation.
This role involves planning, setting up, and executing validation tests for hardware and software components, specifically Displays and Gauges, across multiple vehicle platforms.
Responsibilities:
Validate hardware and software through simulation, bench, and vehicle testingCollaborate with technicians and validation engineers for test executionCoordinate test activities with system leads and program managersManage multiple component-level validations simultaneouslyDevelop and maintain test bench setups and simulation scriptsConduct failure investigations and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align validation with release schedulesReview and provide feedback on hardware/software requirementsEnsure validation follows applicable standards and processesWork in both office and lab/shop environments; occasional travel (<20%) requiredQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (., Computer Engineering)3+ years of experience in electronics design, verification, or validation, preferably in the automotive industryExperience with vehicle testing and embedded systemsProficiency in communication protocols: CAN, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, VHF, CellularStrong knowledge of UDS and J1939 protocolsFamiliarity with DFMEA, SFMEA, and Functional SafetyUnderstanding of Agile development methodologiesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience with tools like DOORS, TestRail, or CodeBeamerExperience working with global teams and project management is a plusPreferred Background:
Automotive industry experience strongly preferredExperience with infotainment systems or RIDE COMMAND is a significant plus
