Care Center  located in Cincinnati, OH is searching for a Veterinary   Technician Assistant to join our outstanding Oncology team ! If you’re passionate about veterinary medicine, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

  Schedule:



  • Full-Time | First Shift, 4/10's | Monday - Thursday | On-call rotation required (about once per month) Pay Range:  Competitive hourly rate: $18–$25/hour (based on experience) Benefits Generous Benefits Package including: Medical, Dental, Vision Disability & Life Insurance Paid Time Off 401(k) with employer contribution HSA & FSA options CE and Uniform Allowance Paid License Renewal Fees Tuition Reimbursement / Assistance Employee Pet Discount About you A team player with initiative and a can-do attitude Calm under pressure and adaptable in challenging situations Passionate about animal care and committed to professional growth Skilled in communication and eager to contribute to a supportive team culture Responsibilities of this position: The Veterinary Technician Assistant supports the Veterinarians and Technicians in ensuring quality veterinary care for all patients, advocates for pets, provides client education to pet owners, and ensures a safe and efficient hospital environment.    Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, procedures, and treatments Provide pet owners with clear home-care instructions and updates on hospitalized pets Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless care Ensure clean, safe, and efficient hospital operations Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments Essential Skills Patient restraint skills including, but not limited to: behavioral assessment, safe handling of fractious patients Able to maintain focus and work in a fast-paced work environment Adept at problem solving Basic computer skills Effective communication and organizational skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years emergency or specialty veterinary clinical experience  High school diploma, GED, or higher education Must be able to lift forty (40) pounds unassisted Why choose Care Center?
