**VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty** **Animal Hospital** is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our growing **ICU** care team full time! Credentials desired but not required.

**ER / ICU Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:**

+ Anesthesia procedural monitoring
+ Full Technician Skill Utilization
+ Collecting patient histories & physical exams
+ Medication refills, and Pet parent communication
+ Proficient in medical calculations
+ Venipuncture / IVC placement
+ Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
+ Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
+ Providing compassionate care for all patients

**Potential Schedule:** Full-time (Three, 12 Hour, 6a - 6p)

**Compensation:** $ 21 - 28 / hour dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status (CVT, VTS, CVPM)
