Visiting Assistant Professor, Art History

The Berea College Art and Art HistoryDepartment announces a full-time, two-year faculty position of VisitingAssistant Professor of Art History, beginning August 2024.

The teaching load isthree courses each semester.

The ideal candidate would be able to teach arthistory surveys, 20th and 21st-century art, and LatinAmerican art.

The curriculum also supports offering additional courses based onthe candidate’s areas of specialization.

PhD by August 2024 and college teaching experiencepreferred, ABD considered.

Interested applicants should include a letterof interest, curriculum vitae, statement of teaching goals, sample syllabi, graduatetranscripts (unofficial accepted at application stage), and contact informationfor two recommenders.
