The anticipated salary range for this role is between $158,000.00 and $198,000.00.

The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire.

The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.

**SUMMARY:**

We are seeking a VP, Sr. Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer with deep expertise in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions across hybrid environments, particularly in Azure and GCP.

This leadership role is responsible for driving cloud security strategy, architecture, and execution with a strong emphasis on automation, scalability, and a security-first mindset.

You will lead the development of secure infrastructure, collaborate across teams, and ensure alignment with enterprise security standards and business goals.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Lead the design and implementation of security architecture across Azure and GCP environments.
+ Define and enforce cloud security policies, endpoint controls, and Kubernetes security practices.
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy, from architecture through deployment.
+ Establish and maintain secure coding standards, design patterns, and application security guidelines.
+ Define and implement API security strategies, including lifecycle protection and threat mitigation.
+ Set encryption standards and ensure consistent application across systems and services.
+ Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and InfoSec teams to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.
+ Evaluate and optimize end-to-end systems and processes for performance, security, and future readiness.
+ Support ad-hoc projects involving cloud upgrades, system assessments, and process improvements.
+ Produce clear documentation, including architecture diagrams and security design artifacts.

**POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:**

+ Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Azure and GCP certifications preferred.
+ Proven experience designing and implementing cloud security architecture in Azure and GCP.
+ Strong proficiency with Terraform and other automation tools.
+ Hands-on experience with security tools such as MS Defender, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Imperva, Palo Alto Firewalls, and native cloud firewalls.
+ Familiarity with industry security frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST).
+ Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API security controls (SSO, OAuth, threat protection).
+ Experience with service mesh and API gateway security.
+ Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GIAC, GSEC, CSSLP) or an advanced degree in Information Security.
+ Azure and/or GCP architecture certifications are a strong plus.
