Warehouse Manager
Location: On-site | Flexible hours between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
A growing food production company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse and logistics operations.
This role oversees a team of 12 and plays a key part in supporting production through effective material flow, inventory accuracy, and cross-department collaboration.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational and communication skills, and experienced in managing food manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, including material flow, inventory control, and shipping/receiving functions.
Ensure all raw materials and packaging are available to meet production schedules and coordinate closely with materials and packaging teams.
Manage cycle counts, verify inventory accuracy, and reconcile discrepancies.
Collaborate with Supply & Demand, Accounting, and Production teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting.
Supervise and develop warehouse staff, submitting verified hours for payroll and managing temporary labor.
Maintain compliance with all SOPs, GMPs, and food safety regulations.
Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and leased vehicles, coordinating preventive maintenance and repairs.
Support leadership with operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations (food industry experience strongly preferred).
Proven leadership experience managing warehouse teams in fast-paced environments.
Proficient in Excel and ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP or equivalent).
Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments (freezer: -10°F; refrigerated: 32–40°F).
