Wright Beverage Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Receiver/Stocker to join our team! You will receive training and development with the opportunity to grow.

POSITION VISIONPerform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, picking and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

QUANTIFIABLE POSITION OBJECTIVES1.

Reports to work on time wearing a clean company approved safety uniform.2. Unloads products from inbound trucks with forklift.

Using the forklift, a pallet containing anywhere from 40 to 150 cases of product may be lifted.

Pallets may be stacked up to 4 high.

Similarly, a pallet may contain anywhere from 6 to 20 kegs.

Stacks of kegs can go as high as 8 pallets3.

Load empty bottles and kegs onto trucks.4. Fills pick area from warehouse storage area to ensure night crew has proper inventory to load trucks.5. Conducts inventory cycle counts in the morning and reports to Inventory Specialist any errors or concerns.6. Helps load bulk trucks with products.

Products may be lifted using arms and hands to stack products on pallets for loading onto trucks.

Products weight approximately:- 1 case of cans = 21 pounds- 1 case of 12 oz bottles = 38 pounds- 1 case of 40 oz or 24 oz NR bottles = 48 pounds- 1 1/6 bbl = 58 pounds- 1 ¼ bbl = 88 pounds- 1 ½ bbl.

= 175 pounds7.

Maintains a safe working environment by straightening up pallets and keeping floors swept and scrubbed.8. Must be willing and able with proper training to perform back up functions for other warehouse and delivery personnel.9. Builds transfers using tablets.

Proper stacking is required.10.

Assists with picking orders for customers for pick up at the warehouse.

QUALITATIVE POSITION OBJECTIVES1.

When receiving inbound loads from suppliers, each pallet is recorded and checked in properly thru WMS.2. Placing WMS labels with proper code dates on each pallet in designated area on each pallet3.

Always ensures proper rotation maintained in warehouse and pick area.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS1.

Uphold customer service philosophy and uphold WBD standards while executing business activities.2. Strive to build and maintain favorable reputation of WBD to fulfill the vision of being the Preferred Supplier with our customers.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

+ Minimum: High school diploma or GED Must be able to read, write and comprehend English and have basic math skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and stack, 1 case of can (21 pounds), 1 case of 12oz bottles (38 pounds), 1 case of 40 oz bottles (48 pounds) and½ barrels weighting 175 pounds 3 feet off the ground; stand; use hands to finger, handle and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.



WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS All work is performed inside the confines of the warehouse except for pulling trucks in and out of the warehouse.

Exposure to broken glass and diesel fumes.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTSPreferred a valid, clean NYS driver’s license that is acceptable to our insurance carrier.

This person will be required to job share responsibilities and fill in for delivery assistant/helper as needed.
