Class Summary







Job Description
This Warehouse Tech II will be responsible for pulling and delivering materials to Parks and Recreation facilities while maintaining accurate records of delivery.

The incumbent will also be conducting and completing cycle counts and physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies, and operating all inventory related computer software, devices, and mechanical equipment to ensure accurate recordkeeping in warehouse management systems.

Essential Duties

+ Receiving and verifying shipment contents and packing slips/invoices against purchase orders, inspecting items for damage or quality issues, and distributing inventory

+ Picking, staging, and packing orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to internal facilities

+ Maintaining proper stock rotation, ensuring bin locations are updated, and overseeing re-slotting to optimize space and efficiency

+ Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered equipment

+ Maintaining accurate logs of receipts, transfers, and returns and preparing routine warehouse reports for supervisors or managers

+ Handling non-routine tasks such as urgent materials requests, resolving stock discrepancies, or assisting with audits and process improvements

+ Monitoring and responding to emails, participating in section meetings with staff, and presenting inventory updates or cycle count findings as needed

Grade
The grade for this position is A13(2).

Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications


+ Valid driver's license,

+ High School Diploma/GED, AND

+ Two years of automated warehouse or inventory control experience

+ An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
