JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Communications and Marketing, the Sys Programmer/Developer III will oversee the development and testing of various web-based software applications, as well as the design and implementation of various static web pages.
All other duties as assigned.
Education - High School or Equivalent - and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software.
An associate's degree or bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.
Work Experience: 0+ years
Education - 1st associate's degree - in a computer programming related field.
Relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree under certain circumstances.
Work experience - six months experience in software development and modification
Fundamental job knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations
No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.
No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.
10% - Overnight Travel
Standard Hrs: 37.5
Band: 07 ($ 57,334.00 - $ 65,000.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
