Position Information Position Title Welding Adjunct Instructor Employee Group Faculty Division/Department Welding Engineering Technology Status Part-time Faculty for Winter 2025 Position Summary Information Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions The successful candidate must demonstrate experience, skills, and commitment to fostering an environment of belonging, diversity, equity and inclusion.

We are seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Welding Adjunct Instructor(s) who are committed to student retention and success.

Instructors are responsible for establishing and promoting an effective learning environment to maximize student learning.

Teach student outcomes and objectives in our WELD 103 course.

This course is three credits and explores Oxy-fuel welding and cutting.

Required Qualifications

  • Journeyman’s card with two years (4000 hours) of relevant work experience OR

  • Associate Degree or higher in Welding Engineering Technology or related field
  • Additional Experiences Considered
  • Applicable welding certifications


  • CWI credentials

  • Ability to certify

  • Teaching experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred
