In collaboration with San Diego County Fire Authority IT and UCSD ITS staff, the position implements architecture reference designs of a shared cyberinfrastructure platform across the network backbone.

The Wide-area Wireless Network Administrator also meets with colleagues from other network operators in to design and deploy infrastructure services that support common needs from different institutions.
