We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Technical Specialist to contribute to our software engineering space and provide critical skills required for the development of cutting-edge products.

As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will develop solutions in specific domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, Networking Solutions, and more.

You will be a leader – contributing knowledge, guidance, technical expertise, and team leadership skills.

Your aim throughout, is to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services through the use of technology and technical methods and methodologies.

Driving the design, development, integration, delivery, and evolution of highly scalable distributed software you will integrate with other layers and offerings.

You will provide deeper functionality and solutions to address customer needs.

You will work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to get high-quality products and features through the agile software development lifecycle.

Your continuous grooming of features/user stories to estimate, identify technical risks/dependencies and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders will ensure the features are delivered with the right quality and within timeline.

You will maintain and drive the clearing of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and currency of the 3rd party components within the product.

As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will also coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture.

Workday Solution Architects are integral to driving digital transformation within organizations, leveraging their deep understanding of Workday technologies to design, optimize, and implement enterprise solutions.

They collaborate across teams, champion technical excellence, and guide businesses through complex change, ensuring alignment between IT capabilities and organizational goals.

**What You'll Do**

+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, establish alignment, and foster cooperation throughout all phases of Workday projects.
+ Workday Solution Design: Architect comprehensive solutions across Workday modules (HCM, Finance, Payroll, etc.), addressing both immediate business needs and long-term scalability.
+ Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday configurations, integrations, and optimization.

Guide teams through best practices and strategic approaches to platform enhancements.
+ Change Management: Champion organizational change by designing and implementing new Workday processes, training users, and onboarding teams to new functionalities.
+ Agile Delivery: Apply agile methodologies to develop, test, and deploy Workday solutions.

Adapt quickly and efficiently to evolving project demands.
+ Innovation & Growth: Continuously seek opportunities to leverage emerging Workday features, drive platform innovation, and improve the user experience.
+ Strategic Engagement: Advise senior leadership on Workday strategy, bridging technical and business perspectives to deliver solutions that support enterprise objectives.

**Skills & Expertise**

+ Extensive experience with Workday HCM implementations, including solution design, module configuration, and system integration
+ In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, business processes, and reporting
+ Proficiency in designing integrations with other enterprise platforms (APIs, middleware, data migration tools)
+ Ability to lead feasibility studies, technical assessments, and optimization initiatives within the Workday ecosystem
+ Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and delivering impactful presentations
+ Ability to mentor project teams, build consensus, and share knowledge to advance organizational success
+ Strategic mindset with capability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

+ Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
+ 4+ years in technology consulting or enterprise software roles, including 5+ years specializing in Workday architecture and implementation
+ Demonstrated expertise in Workday HCM modules, integrations, and platform optimization

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**

+ Strong problem-solving ability and engineering rigor
+ Comfortable working with ambiguity and navigating complex, fast-paced environments
+ Skilled in one or more of the following areas: Application Development, Data Platform, Security, Application Integration, Data Engineering, Server Systems, Packaged Application Implementation, Business Analysis, Network Systems, or Storage Systems

**Compensation**

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is **$110,880** to $ **210,600** based on a full-time schedule.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience.

For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: **$122,040** to **$252,840**

Colorado: **$110,880** to **$210,600**

New York City: **$133,080** to **$252,840**

Washington: **$122,040** to **$231,720**

Washington DC: **$122,040** to **$231,720**

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans.

You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.

Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
