Established in 1983 in the Art Museum area, the hospital has served the Philadelphia community well for over thirty years providing excellent comprehensive and compassionate care. Besides working exclusively with the best animal species EVER, you will be working with simply amazing cat- loving clients.
Stretching from City Hall to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia's grand tree-lined Benjamin Franklin Parkway is flanked by some of the city's most acclaimed destinations. Visitors to the Parkway Museums District will discover a cultural mecca with world-class museums and educational institutions, the magnificent Swann Memorial Fountain, Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul on Logan Square and the world famous "Rocky" steps. Job Responsibilities:
- Builds a rapport with clients
- Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, nutritional needs and preventative treatment
- Performs physical exams and diagnostic-surgical-medical and dental procedures that delivers the highest quality care
- Stays current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
- Maintains client-patient medical/surgical records
- Assists in the development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree
- Licensure in good standing in state of PA or ability to become licensed in PA
- Experienced Veterinarian preferred
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
- Commitment to ongoing educational growth

The Cat Doctor is an AAHA & AAFP accredited, feline-exclusive general practice with a current team of 3 doctors, 3 technicians, and 2 CSRs. We are located in the Art Museum area of Philadelphia, PA, close to restaurants, shopping, and popular tourist attractions. Our hospital is easily accessible by bus via SEPTA, and employees who travel by car have access to free street parking in our safe residential neighborhood.
