We are on the hunt for a Jr. Backend Developer and Sr. Backend Developer to join our Cincinnati, Ohio or Dallas, Texas office. Relocation assistance is not being offered at this time.
What you will do...
- Design, implement, and test end-to-end functionality of client projects
- Contribute to the design and architecture of our software platform
- Work with project managers to create estimates and realistic schedules
- Support existing programs by troubleshooting issues via Jira, our ticketing system
- Lead/Senior Candidates: exhibits advanced proficiency in object-oriented design and clean coding practices, widely exposed to tools and frameworks with ability to quickly learn & evaluate new technologies, experienced in examining complex functional requirements, fluent in data modeling and report building
What you should have...
- Curiosity- keeps up with modern practices and is curious to learn new technologies, but experienced enough to not put a fad in production
- Fluency in object-oriented design and general clean coding practices
- An eye for usability and aesthetics of web applications
- Some Perl, Ruby or Elixir experience is a plus but not required
