In this role, the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for developing plans and strategies to improve students' academic performance, mental health and social development in accordance with ITEPs (Individualized Transdisciplinary Education Plan).About the Opportunity:Start Date: ASAPAssignment Length: Contract to HireSchedule: Monday to FridayHours: 8:15am to 4:15pm Patient Volume: 82 in total schoolEMR: Azimuth SISResponsibilities:The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)Conduct comprehensive assessments and reassessments of a student's functional, behavioral, emotional needsDevelop, implement and support data collection systems for students across academic, community and campus life areas as relevant and necessaryAnalyze data and progress of students regarding their ongoing functional, behavioral and emotional needsWork with the students in their environment, requiring flexible clinical processes and scheduling requiring 'after hours' and occasional week-end availabilityProvide Crisis management and Classroom push in/pull out support as necessaryProactively maintain open lines of communication with care providers, students, family members to effectively address student progress, development and emergencies, as neededParticipate as needed in community and professional education regarding clinical matters, life skills independence and related areasPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical, Educational, Psychology, School Psychology, and/or a related fieldNYS Behavioral Analyst licenseBoard Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certificationExperience working with students on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilitiesSolid assessment and documentation skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:Experience working with the Pediatric populationExperience working with the IDD and/or Autism populationExperience in a School setting
