Sign-On Bonuses up to $2,500!MAIN FUNCTION:Performs a variety of technical duties providing for preventive maintenance (PM), repair, overhaul, modifications, evaluation and clinical support for a broad spectrum of patient and non‑patient medical equipment. Provides guidance or technical support to other Biomedical Technicians and Vendors as required or assigned. Reports to the Director of Clinical Engineering.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:BS in Engineering and two years related experience; or AAS in Biomedical, Electronic or Computer Technology and at least four years related experience. Equivalent education and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis. Knowledge of pneumatics, mechanics, hydraulics, general chemistry and physiology. ICC Certification desirable.CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) REQUIREMENTS:No CPR requirement. WORK SCHEDULE: Primarily days ‑ may occasionally be required to shift work schedule to facilitate repair and maintenance.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to lift heavy equipment.EXPOSURE CATEGORY: Category II. Tasks that involve no direct exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. But employment may require performing unplanned Category I tasks.
