The Division of Urology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital is recruiting a board-certified/board-eligible full-time community-based general urologist with expertise in surgical care of patients with all types of urologic conditions to serve as Chief of the Urology Program at Brockton Hospital. The preferred candidate must have successfully completed an accredited general urology training program and possess exceptional teamwork, program development, teaching and mentorship abilities. This position will provide physician, administrative, and clinical leadership for the Urology Program. In junction with clinical duties, the Chief is responsible for maintaining patient safety, quality physician engagement, physician performance, program operations and financial performance. This position will work collaboratively with a diverse growing team of physicians and mid-level providers to provide clinical community-based care. The successful candidate for this position will serve in alignment with the vision and strategy of Signature Medical Group and the HMFP Department of Surgery strategies, reporting to the Chief of Surgery at Brockton Hospital and the Chief of Urology at BIDMC.Signature Healthcare includes Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, Signature Medical Group (SMG), Signature Healthcare Foundation and the Brockton Hospital School of Nursing. Brockton Hospital is a community-based non-profit 216 licensed bed teaching hospital, providing a full range of clinical services to residents of Southeastern Massachusetts. SMG is a multi-specialty physician group of more than 150 physicians practicing in 18 ambulatory locations.
