Join us! We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and committed nutrition professional to join the Field Services Administration (FSA) team and work in Region 2-Central. Under the supervision of the Region
2-Central Child Nutrition Supervisor I in the FSA of the Compliance Section, the incumbent will monitor and complete administrative reviews of program operators participating in Child Nutrition Programs (CNP) for compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct nutrient analyses of meals served; educate the public, as well as nonprofit program operators; provide program-related technical assistance; and analyze and interpret state and federal laws and regulations. The position requires at least 50 percent travel and throughout the state of California as needed. Registered Dietitians preferred.The majority of the caseloads will be in the San Mateo, Santa Clara, and surrounding counties. Working Conditions
TELEWORK OPTION
This position may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for eligible applicants residing in California. A hybrid telework schedule includes working remotely and physically reporting to the office.
