As part of the Department of Administration, the State Human Resources Division contributes to the strategic and operating success of the State of Montana through partnerships with other agency human resources professionals to provide innovative programs, services, systems, and solutions in support of state employees and agency workforce strategies.
Are you a student looking for an internship to expand your IT skills and knowledge? The State Human Resources Division is looking for a student intern to work as part of our HR Cloud Services team.
This is an opportunity to experience a full range of system considerations on both new implementations and maintaining existing functionality. You will work closely with experienced analysts and system administrators in a professional and primarily virtual office setting to learn about: large enterprise system design and decision making; system and end user security; reporting for end users and issue auditing; data integration between systems; issue resolution; configuration; documentation; upgrades and enhancements; testing; and end user support and education.
You will work an average of 20 hours a week Monday through Friday with flexible schedule options available. Telework options will be made available but being in the office in Helena one day a week is required.
This position is open until filled with a first review of applications to take place on April 5th.
Education and Experience:
This internship will most benefit students majoring in computer science or related degree programs.
Graphic design experience is a plus.
