This role integrates and collaborates with our primary care and ancillary care teams, as part of our larger medical home model.Job ResponsibilitiesEvaluates acute and chronic dermatological conditionsCompletes full-body preventive skin examinationsPerforms minor in-clinic proceduresPrescribes medications as appropriateProvides evidence-based, timely, compassionate care to a wide range of individualsWorks collaboratively with a multidisciplinary medical team, including primary care physicians, physical medicine providers, behavioral health specialists and coaches, etcCompletes thorough documentation, using EMR and other integrated toolsKeeps open lines of respectful communication with other providers, clinic staff, and patientsPerforms other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsCompletion of MD degree from an accredited medical schoolCurrent Board Certification in DermatologyActive Medical License in the State of PracticeMinimum 3 years of relevant experience providing dermatology care in a clinical settingCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certificationPreferred QualificationsExperience in an outpatient setting, specifically within an integrated primary care modelExperience using EMR Strong computer skills and proficiency in Mac OS (Pages, KeyNote, and Numbers), Google office products or other client systems such as Microsoft Office or HP productsExperience with telehealth or virtual care offerings, including aptitude for associated technologyPhysical Job RequirementsRequires standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordinationIncludes full range of body motion including potential of handling and lifting patients. Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
