As an Engineering Co-op, You Will:
Support electric motor new product development and cost reduction project functions Participate and present project updates in recurring engineering reviews and meetings Prepare sample order requests, test procedures, and test reports. Complete engineering change orders, drawing markups, and bills of material changes Perform laboratory experiments, material analysis, and competitor motor analysis with the help of engineering technicians. Who You Are:
You define issues and can map out a process. You stay on top of new communications technologies. You solicit both input and discussion. You balance planning with action.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel Legal Authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
Cumulative GPA Familiarity with HVAC systems Understanding of basic electric machines (induction and BPM motors) Operating instrumentations and meters using test procedures and user manuals Schedule
This role has the flexibility of a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of :am - :pm. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers. This position will begin as soon as you're able to and will require working hours a week. This term runs from January - April or May.

The ComRes platform employees at this location provide support to the various businesses within Commercial and Residential Solutions, allowing for many networking opportunities across businesses.
