DESCRIPTION:
Client , located in Dallas, TX, is seeking an Enterprise/Solution/Infrastructure Architect. This position is not eligible for International Relocation Program benefits. Essentially this environment is a greenfield, so there is immense opportunity to implement broad enterprise architecture principles, processes, and strategies to mature the practice as an Organizational Capability. Candidate should understand the unique challenges of being a disruptive change agent and have an innate ability to develop trust with stakeholders, internal information technology teams, and leadership.
OBJECTIVES:
Mature organizational enterprise architecture capability. Manage and facilitate an EA review board/council to evaluate project proposals for architectural fit partner with other Solution Architects to provide a consensus-based scalable and adaptable architectural solution.
Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to apply a consistent framework across the company. Develop application and infrastructure rationalization framework to reduce technical debt. Participate in digital strategy decisions and provide digital business model consulting within IT Teams.
Could you perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives?
Partner with business and technology subject matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions. Partner with Information Security to ensure architecture aligns with security strategy and policies.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered necessary as defined by ADA)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
The ability to guide and influence decision frameworks to advance information technology products, services, and innovation. Strong leadership and negotiation skills with technical groups. A demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders. The ability to document, model, and visualize technology solutions. The ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. The ability to listen, be creative, be friendly, be professional, and be flexible.
SAP ecosystem experience is a plus and preferred. A comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management and organization skills. A demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders. Being comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology.
Not only able to articulate the value of product configuration to the senior product line leadership but also be able to define measurable KPIs and metrics to demonstrate value over time.
The ability to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate IT standards to meet business requirements. The ability to build a comprehensive understanding of and strategically connect the needs of multiple business/functional areas.
Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to apply a consistent framework across the company.
Develop application and infrastructure rationalization framework to reduce technical debt partner with other Solution Architects to provide a consensus-based scalable and adaptable architectural solutions.
Help to develop the long-term strategic roadmap for all IT systems architecture. Circulate technical roadmaps to align IT priorities with business partner needs. Demonstrate digital opportunities and partner with internal innovation teams. Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to apply a consistent framework across the company.
EXPERIENCE:
Professional IT or IS experience managing Complex systems landscapes.
Eight years of IT architecture governance experience.
Five years of experience building enterprise architecture models.
Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions.
EDUCATION: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS), or relevant Enterprise Architect Certification(s) such as TOGAF, Zachman, or LeanIX EA Practitioner.
WORK CONDITIONS: Office based. Occasional long hours, as well as nights and weekends as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Job conditions require sitting, talking, or hearing, making visual inspections, and making precise hand and finger movements. Job conditions may require standing and walking, the ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, and a valid State driver's license and proof of insurance are required.
