Overview:
We are seeking a mid-senior Full Stack Developer to join our client who helps solve the world's most pressing energy challenges across various sectors. You will get a chance to work with an embedded engineering team, learning from the current lead developer, and lead future development and integrations.
Job Details:
As a Full Stack Developer, you are
- Carry out full life-cycle software development: plan, develop, document, test software
- Architect new client interfaces and backend APIs
- Work with other disciplines, including the product owner, systems, UI/UX, embedded software and hardware developer
- Analyzing, writing, building, testing, documenting and deploying software
- Translates design mockups and wireframes into code for web-based applications
- Coding the server-side elements of inCOMMAND
- Weighing in on new UX to insure it works within the overall schema
- Identify new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability
- Perform backend integration and maintain graphic standards and branding across the UI
- Providing feedback to management during the development process
- Learn about battery technologies and KPI metrics, for sales, engineering and service support.
- Open to travel to laboratory, factory, or customer field visits.
Requirements:
A qualified Full Stack Developer will be able to work very independently and be an effective leader.
- 4+ years experience in software development
- Front End Experience:
- Using React.js or Redux for Single Page App development
- Back End Experience:
- Server side development using runtime and frameworks such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, and GraphQL
- Familiar with DBMS technology, including Postgres, MongoDB, and SQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis and Memcached
- Proficient in containerization tools such as Docker as related to microservice development
- Skilled in operating container orchestration tools such as AWS Fargate, Kubernetes, or Docker Compose
- Using Infrastructure-as-Code languages such as Terraform or Cloud formation, and deploying onto a cloud provider such as AWS or Azure
Location:
Must be able to work in office 5 days a week in Alpharetta, GA.
