Infrastructure Project Manager*Resource Must be located in Tennessee, Atlanta or Birmingham and able and willing to drive to client distribution sites in Tennessee on an as-needed basis. Position is hybrid.*The Project Manager is assigned low to moderately complex projects, is the primary point of contact for each project, and assumes the leadership role in managing the project to ensure safety, environmental, quality, budget, and schedule goals are met, or functions within a larger project.They will apply professional principles, practices, and techniques; may supervise others; will set direction and prioritize resources to meet clients objectives and is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, monitoring and controlling, quality, implementation, execution, and completion, within cost and schedule, of assigned projects. • Previous hands on infrastructure experience• Knowledge of the following helpful: Windows OS, servers, data storage and backup, network technologies, physical site connectivity, and failover impacts; Federal and NERC compliance for critical infrastructure environments; plant operations/systems such as Maximo, P6, eSOMS, electricity management systems• Robust understanding of scope, schedule, cost, and quality management throughout all phases of the project lifecycle• Excellent knowledge about all aspects of information technology specifically with complex infrastructure environments• Expert hands on knowledge of building a critical path and understanding the rightquestions to ask• Actively manage a critical path which allows for a line of sight into risk/issues before theyhave project/program impactDuties/Responsibilities:• Assessing the requirements of the project and recommending suitable IT components• Analyzing different options and recommending the most suitable and economically feasible for the project• Overseeing execution of work to improve the IT infrastructure of the company• Recommend upgrades and new systems that will be more useful for the project• Leading the JPT in identifying technical and critical path dependencies across multiple projects and articulating the impacts to leadership• Ensuring quality and completeness of cost estimates of IT infrastructure prepared by the Joint Project Team• Work with Portfolio Analyst to ensure the budget is on track and budget limits are not breached• Supervising IT staff, consultants, vendors and suppliers• Meeting with managers of different departments and assessing IT infrastructure needs• Meeting with IT analysts and finalizing essential IT infrastructure• Planning and supervising installation of IT infrastructure in the company• Making sure that the infrastructure development project is completed within the given time frame• This role will require travel throughout the Tennessee Valley and on-site engagement with project stakeholders
